Kuebler53 - 53° alc. vol. - 1.0 ltr. (33.8 fl oz)-$59.90 |
Continuing
a great tradition in the Swiss Val de Travers, the
Kübler family began producing Absinthe in 1863.
Despite the Absinthe ban in Switzerland which had
been passed in 1910, the Kübler distillery managed
to find a small loophole in the legislation and were,
until the recent lifting of the ban, the only Swiss
distillery that was allowed to produce an Extrait
d’Absinthe.

The flag ship of all cuban cigars is the Cohiba Esplendido. It's
not a myth, Cohiba are the best cigars on the enitre planet. The
Cohiba Esplendido (Churchill) is made out of triple fermented
tobacco (most are only fermented twice) to give it a
mellow power and grace unrivaled in any other brand. Only the
most experinced rollers are allowed to touch the sacred Cohiba
Esplendido or Cohiba robusto. At our duty free prices every working
Joe or Jane can afford to smoke the finest cigars in the world.
If a Churchill is too much, or a Robusto too powerful, try the
Siglo line. Elegant and refined these Cohibas are art, music and
fine cuisine rolled into a single tube of joy! Try a Cohiba esplendido
today!
What
is a Cohiba Robusto?? How about a half stick of dynamite that
begs to be lit! The robusto is for a gentleman who who has enough
time to smoke a fine cigar but not the 1.5 Hour needed for a honking
big churchill. A robusto is wide enough to make the burning cherry
a proportionately smaller portion of the cigar (cooler smoke)
and long enough to get a full head of steam. Imagine rolling a
whack of dried cherries in a sheet of dark chocolate, wrapped
again in a blemish free tobacco skin and copied 25 times.
In
1982, three types of Cohiba cigars were introduced to diplomats:
the Lanceros, the Coronas Especiales and the Panatelas. Three
more vitoles were added to the brand in 1989: the Espléndidos,
the Robustos and the Exquisitos, completing what is known as "La
Línea Clasica". Five more vitoles were added in 1992
creating the "Linea 1492": the Siglo I, II, III, IV
and V. Cohiba cigars remain the "King of the Cubans".
Only the finest tobacco leaves are used to create the various
types of Cohiba cigars. |

Belicoso Fino (CLICK CIGAR)
Wow.
Now this is a beautiful Cuban Cigar. When you look at the
broad selection of cuban cigars, regardless of factory or
brand, nothing compares to a beautiful Belicoso. The gentle
taper, the massive foot, the deep chocolately wrapper all
scream "Bring on the fire!!". Nestled in the box,
they look like missles of satifaction in the war machine
of desire. The aroma? Imagine a leather box, full of cinnamon
and chocolate, drizzled with Cognac and a touch of orange
zest. Then add one part musk and one part jealousy and you
have half of how good these smell. |
